The UN Climate summit sounds promising - but only if we don't look at it from up close

The COP27 UN Climate meeting is happening in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, now: November 6 to November 18, 2022.

A climate summit sounds nice: it’s difficult to think of a generic issue area that would need more urgent attention.

Unfortunately, there is a lot to unpack here. From who is participating, where it is happening, what is being discussed and what isn’t.
